Elven by name, Hobbit by nature

'Road lead ever on and on
down from the door where it began
now far ahead the road has gone
down from where all began' -FOTR-

and through all the world has changed
the ages come and go with time
and yet those remain unchanged
unto they journey westward
over the sea...

Ah, this looks like a nice place to sit down and put my feet up!

After working hysterically the last couple of weeks, I'm now taking several days off. My grandchildren will be here momentarily (with their parents, of course) and after they visit for awhile, the Gaffer and I are off to California for the St. Pat's Day weekend.

Now if I can just relax enough to enjoy it all....

*sits down, drapes aching wrists over comfy cushions, and extends feet toward the fire* (But not too close to the fire -- my editor's doing that!)

*Pops the top on a Dublin Dr. Pepper* [In reply to] Can't Post

I have some projects to do today so I need a bit of oomph.

I think I shall sit here by the fire with my DDP and do some much-needed sewing. Ah yes, that's very nice and relaxing. Smile

Feels Like A Pleasant Tavern In LakeTown.... [In reply to] Can't Post

Where we can sip Dorwinion wine on a warm spring evening. Sunset on the waters.
A little kindling on the fireplace, just for ambience wouldn't hurt either.
Best wishes for the new sites and to all the great Ringers here.

Is there a reason we're having Sunday Siesta on the Movie Board? Are we supposed to bring a DVD or something?

Rainy Sunday evening here. *Settles in by fire*

I got that [In reply to] Can't Post

But didn't we have it on the OT Board last week? I just wondered if there was a specific reason it was on Movie.Smile
