I wrote this fic some time ago for a fan fiction angst contest. I didn't win, but those who did were very deserving!
However, given that we've finally seen the conclusion of The Hobbit Trilogy, I felt it appropriate to post this here (no flames please!).

I really liked the ending, where she goes to the tomb of the kings. Especially poignant with the images from the EE in my mind. Good work!
