Thanks to Amazon.jp, the inner life of the Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies SEE digipak has been revealed! This is the same digipak which is also sold in UK, Spain, Poland and some other countries: just with a logo and a symbol on the cover instead of a photoshop montage. The interior of the digipak will be the same for all countries. It can be ordered at: Amazon.co.uk (order button still not active) Amazon.jp

The Appendices part 11 on two discs? My guess is that this only applies to the DVD.

A little curiosity - the list of discs on the inside cover reads: Discs 4 & 5 - The Appendices Part 12 - Here at Journey's End. But on the discs themselves the last one reads: 'The Appendices Part 12 - The Road Goes Ever On Whatever - my fingers are itching for the order button to start working!

I hope I will find this version like I did with DOS, since the other dvd version has a really terrible cover.

I didn't realise the previous DVD editions also split the first appendices onto two discs. I guess there's just too much extra stuff for one DVD.

Purely for the reason that I LOVE these fold out cases so much and they keep consistency with my LOTR EE's, I'm buying this EE as DVD again instead of Blu Ray. Pretty sure I'm not the only one either!

I like the Blue-Ray steelbook cases, as well as the UK DVD cases. I'll watch it on BR, but will have the DVD to complete my set. By the way, do we know what the colour artwork will be on the front flap of the foldout?
