Which less-used Dwarf was your favorite?

This has been a topic of much debate on The Hobbit boards. I gave the option to vote for more than one (ideally I'm hoping everyone picks their top 2), as I feel like we all know who the runaway favorite will be. What are everyone's thoughts on this? EDIT: Ah dang it, should have added Thror and Thrain :(

Bofur was given an interesting personality and had some nice interactions with Bilbo.

I would totally have voted for Thror and Thrain. :) Ah well... my reply kinda-sorta counts too, I guess even if they weren't included.

Is there a way to re-vote? I'll trade my Dain and Gloin for Thror and Thrain. Not that those two were a hard choice for me either.

Mainly because of his scenes with Bilbo in AUJ. The one in the cave in particular was one of the highlights of the first film. Was Fili really a less used dwarf? I guess arguably since he didn't have a love interest of his own.

Those who love longest, when existence or when hope is gone...apparently don't include any forgetful BlackFoxes. Somewhere out there a poor, lonely Dwarf is alone and in mourning, his one and only fanFox having abandoned him to his miserable and desperate fate... *sob*

For Dain and Gloin. I guess I enjoys feisty Dwarves! I also thought Bofur was a well-used character in the films, with his conversation with Bilbo in AUJ, his moments in Laketown in DoS, and his interactions with Bifur and Bombur throughout.

I voted for 3 & don't feel the least bit guilty about it. I voted for Fili, Bombur and Ori. Here's hoping they get their "hero moments" in the BOT5A EE!

There's only so long you can be in love with perfection, before the weight of your own imperfection becomes too much to bear, and then you either move on or see that love turn into hate. And the latter I just couldn't let happen, so I sacrificed myself so not to taint the memories of the time all was well in the world. *sighs heavily*

Fili definitely had me from the moment he "swagged" his way into Bag End, so I would definitely vote for him. However, he stands out for me more than the other dwarves on the poll so I don't think I'd really count him as one of the "less-used". Just my humble opinion of course. Anyway, I voted for Bofur and Bifur. Bofur is funny, charming and has a good heart. What's not to like? Plus at the end of BotFA, he always gets me with his teary attempt at a smile when saying goodbye to Bilbo. Bifur did not start out as one of my favorites (in fact, I barely noticed him), but after making myself look for him in the background of scenes, I enjoyed his somewhat unhinged behavior. I think he won me over when he was steadfastly roasting the greens over the fire in one of the Rivendell scenes.

I couldn't keep it to two. Bofur, for reasons previously stated by others. Dori, for delightful interactions with Gandalf, Nori, & Ori, and the unlikely portrayal of the company's strongest dwarf. Nori, for his mischievousness. I'm not sure why, but I thought his character's portrayal seemed most convincing: especially after the DOS barrel scene deflated his over-the-top hair. My choices may be as much influenced by the EE Apendices' spotlight on the actors as by the movies themselves.
