Thorin and Balin possible EE scene Can't Post

When the raven return to Thorin at the gate and Thorin is saying "I will have war" Balin is really close to Thorin as if they just had an argument before the raven return, could this be a new scene between Thorin and Balin where Balin is trying to talk some sense to Thorin.http://screencapped.net/...29#top_display_media
And on the soundtrack The Clouds Burst at 1.56-2.34 are not in the film, but it have Thorins them and the music before ends when Bilbo is walking down the rope and the music after is when the Raven return so if would fit that moment.
Her it is in a speed up version at 1.38-2.09 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kasLI5y-1_A

Very likely... [In reply to] Can't Post

Definitely seems like there was footage shot there, whether it is included is another story. I certainly hope so. More Balin is always a good thing, it might be a good way to callback their conversation in Bag End.

Balin [In reply to] Can't Post

Based on what one of the actors (Italian I think) dubbing the movie said, we at least know that Balin does have some new lines somewhere. It could just end up being funeral and chariot stuff, but hopefully there's more.

And..... [In reply to] Can't Post

PLZ let Gandalf visit Thorin after Bilbo gets to Dale - the more I watch BOFA, the more it just seems like Gandalf had had to have told Thorin about his father - or why make such an emphasis on "son of Thrain?" And being king? The TE gets away with it, but without the missing bridge scene? to me it just feels like there's a hole there.Unsure

And agree more of Balin in any way could only be a good thing - the wonderful Ken Stott! Every time I see his scene with Bilbo he is just SO good - Ken Stott IS Balin.HeartHeartHeartHeartHeart
