Just had to share the news! I loved take that 10 years ago and was not pleased to not be able to get tickets for their reunion tour. But, I just got tickets for their beautiful world tour in October! Yippee! Has anyone here been lucky enough to see them?
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.

your post made go look for tickets and lo Belfast has two new dates added in October, and I got two tickets :D Rather chuffed as it was the first time I'd ever tried to get tickets for them and woo, the Bloke and I are going to see them and spend a weekend in Belfast I guess :) Lucky you posted when you did :p When are you going to see them? Ours are for October 12 I'd upload a few pics from their live performances, but I think there is maybe a little too much flesh on show for a family forum. Alas. I did write a post explaing all about them to tho uninitiated however. Went something like this.... Take That, a 'boyband' from the 90's. Lovely lads from various parts of England. Five in total. Then toward the end, after Robbie Williams left for solo h*** followed by superstardom, 4. Huge in the UK and Europe through the 90's and just about anywhere other than the US (and Canada) The Americans just don't like our boybands when they have NSync and the Backstreet Boys. Such clean cut, wholesome chaps :p Unlike ours who were slightly more daring and naughty dressers :> And a bit more sexual. And with Robbie, a bit more drugs n rock n roll. Gary Barlow wrote most (I think all) of the songs, and they were sung between him, Robbie and a cute lil button of a guy called Mark. Gary was the crap dancer. Broke up in Amsterdam in 1996. I remember it well. I was living there at the time and it was the main story on the news all day. And then masses of distraught fans camped outside their very posh hotel on the Amstel and screamed and wailed for a week. In closing, Take That induced screams of desire and youthful hormones not seen or heard since the Beatles.

I'm going on October 15th, their last night performance - glad I unwittingly gave you the heads up! Nearer the time, if you like I'll post you stuff you could do for ur weekend break here. I am so looking forward to finally getting to see them perform, I'll be 10 years younger than I am now that night, love your synopsis of them!
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.
