Will this theater re-release affect BO numbers at all? Billion back in play? Can't Post

Depending on the specifications of the extended editions being released, will these bring in $$$ towards their previous Box Office number? If so, is it possible that DOS and BotFA could hit $1 billion?!

It would need what, $40-50m? [In reply to] Can't Post

No chance. Even if it gets a worldwide release I can't see it coming anywhere near.

Possibly [In reply to] Can't Post

Though I'm not sure how it will do on a weekday/night, especially if it's a limited release. Also, while most of us here have been anticipating the EE, I wonder what percentage of the general audience would be interested/willing to travel and pay the money to see it in theaters.

R rating [In reply to] Can't Post

The R rating certainly isn't going to help either.

As far as i understand, it's a very limited engagement [In reply to] Can't Post

I doubt it affects box office numbers in any meaningful way.
