US/Canada EE release date Nov. 17th Can't Post

A few weeks ago Amazon.ca listed the Bofa EE for the 3rd November, but now they've updated the release date.
This new release date fits better with the UK release date (16th Nov.)

booooooooo [In reply to] Can't Post

They should have just done it the other way around and bumped up the UK release date to November 3rd. Or they could just give it to all of us in October and stop this early digital release nonsense.

Aargh...! *big sigh* [In reply to] Can't Post

Why did I come to expect it much sooner, that is, actually very soon??? Shocked
I must have missed the UK announcement before as well, so this one comes now really as a shock.
Is that aimed at making 'The Hobbit' shine one last time before Star Wars kicks in? This I could at least understand, even if I still don't like the looong wait... Unsure

Well, it's really just about the same wait as before, isn't it... [In reply to] Can't Post

Weren't the others November?

I want to see it tomorrow - NOW - of course, but I'm happy for them to take as much time as they need. Seems to me they've been working under time pressures all through, and have had to compromise some of their ideas. So if they can take their time with this one, I think that's good.

Everything else I've seen still says Nov. 3rd. Here's hoping....

Richard Armitage has said that when the EE comes out, then it will be over. Anticiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipation *gasp* is funCool. Better than the long wait for news of a re-boot or a super-collector-director cut *sigh*.

All true, certainly, but [In reply to] Can't Post

the other times they had to prepare the EE while preparing also the next TE, which must have made the whole thing a tremendous challenge!... Not to have that huge other load of work to do this time, but only the work for the EE, should have been already quite a relief for them.
As this time they could concentrate on the EE only, I had thought they would come up with it earlier than the previous times. I see now that I was wrong, and I accept it, but still with some understandable disappointment...! Wink
Sorry for answering your comment so late: RL is keeping me awfully busy these days...

Anyway everything says 'November', [In reply to] Can't Post

instead of the much sooner month I was personally hoping for this time, so as far as I am concerned a little earlier or later in November doesn't make much difference, I must say... I hope for you that you too will become philosophical about it and just wait patiently, which is what for my part I'll be doing - or trying to do - from now on... Angelic

I hope [In reply to] Can't Post

you are right.
They are working only on EE.

But i still believe they had enough time for DOS EE to repair such unfinished CGI in scenes as are company arriving at Mirkwood and Mirkwood entrance. Smile - non Weta standard.
