The books are the books.
We did have quite the lively argument once in a while (meaning pretty much every day and all the time). I remember the days when you could have a 20' tall footer and nobody would harass you about it...

I remember the days of the Stats Wars, when whole chapters of books were being posted in an attempt to "win" the word count title. I seem to remember Blue Wizard posting multiple stanzas of Spenser's Faerie Queene, for instance. And of course later there were the post-bombings when someone was trying to regain their moderation privileges after the creaky old server had dumped their stats. Not to mention the epic battles between Bullroarer's Dark Tower and the Forces of Chaotic Good, or the flying bagels and cans of whale blubber. I was sad when Aelric's Good Morning/Good Night posts went by the wayside, though.

Lots of new faces (of course to me a new face is anyone that joined after the move to 'newboards'.) I think a few still meet in Valinor across the sundering seas. I lost that link a few years ago so it might not even exist anymore (were you even part of that?).
I've been an I.T. manager for the last year and a half... it's nice bossing people around but I miss some aspects of systems administration.
I don't come here often but a few times a year I will poke around and see what's going on. With no more movies to make it seems like TOR.n may start fading...
