Friends of William Kircher, Bifur the Dwarf, and Sherlock Holmes: Can't Post

William Kircher will play Sherlock in The Hound of the Baskervilles at Circa Theatre in Wellington 25 July - 29 August.
Here's his Facebook page where he says it's his "last stage performance in New Zealand before moving to the U.S. in September". Don't know what that's about but will let you know if we hear.

Saw the play last night! (and got the answer to the USA question) [In reply to] Can't Post

Kircher's Holmes was very robust, direct and energetic. His delivery of the line "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth" was rousing and completely Holmes. (yes, I know it wasn't written for this story, but he totally nailed it! Smile )
Wonderful performances from all. The four actors - each of them playing Dr. Watson at various times and simultaneously - were wizards of coordination, and Kircher transformed into five different characters, including Watson and a woman, throughout the play. The set design utilising black and white audio visuals was very elegant.
A clever and entertaining production.

Best of luck and lots of good roles and adventures in Los Angeles, William! Knock 'em dead, Bifur!
