OMG...LOL I had been fretting about whether to get the UC plastic resin "Thorin Regal Sword" so much, and when all the dwarf barrel rider figures would be out, and so on, that I hadn't looked at any 1/6 scale stuff in a long, long time...and who amongst us can forget the *SCANDAL* of the Bridge 70$ plastic Smauglette? 
So, while I am very familiar with Hot Toys - ASMUS is a new company for me - but I love the higher end 1/6 scale figures - as long as IMO they get the face right - or close enough at this scale. Maybe it's the material, but some of WETA's faces aren't doing it for me - not at that price point IMO including the newest Legolas.
But:
Saruman is also evidently available on preorder...if they do Thorin (and get the face right IMO) there goes the budget . As it is, I am gonna hafta think hard about Bard.
