The funeral scene just seem even more heartwrenching now Oh please please please keep these dwarf moments/goodbies in it! Please! *sobs* I still sincerely hope wherever Dwalin goes to at Ravenhill involves Fili because it'll never stop frustrating me that Fili was ignored.

The scene with Nori, Gloin, and Bofur better be put back in. We need more dwarves!

It was Nori, Gloin and Bofur who bury the troll gold in AUJ and Bilbo need to know where the gold is.

I didn't even think of that. I don't want to get too excited though. Who knows what PJ will decide to keep from us this time.

I wonder if any part of the song that the Dwarves of the company sing to Thorin would work as a funeral dirge.
The king is come unto his hall Under the Mountain dark and tall. The Worm of Dread is slain and dead, And ever so our foes shall fall!

It was Nori, Gloin and Bofur who bury the troll gold in AUJ and Bilbo need to know where the gold is. There's no reason to think that Bilbo and/or Gandalf didn't see where they buried it.

A reprise of the 'Misty Mountains' song with these lyrics would be beautiful. Please, please keep the dirge in PJ. That Bofur and Nori scene sounds great as well. I'd love for Bilbo to say individual farewells, so Ori can give him the drawing and Bombur and Bifur can get lines.

Gandalf, Thorin, Dwalin, Bofur, Gloin, and Nori were the only ones that actually went in the cave though. Even if Bilbo knew about the chest, it still makes sense for them to at least remind him.

The funeral scene sounds like exactly what we've been missing. I hope the Gloin, Nori Bofur scene makes it in as well. I think it will given that they are likely to put the Trollshaw sequence in. That with the Bofur / Bilbo scene before Bilbo leaves with the arkenstone, should vastly improve the film. I hope the gold counting scene (when they search early on for the Arkenstone) makes it in. It seems like they cut all the wrong things! Why?!

And some of the lines that Hadlow mentioned did sound sort of similar to verses of the Misty Mountain, which really gives me hope that there will be a couple of the ending verses, maybe the The mountain throne once more is freed! O! wandering folk, the summons heed! Come haste! Come haste! across the waste! The king of friend and kin has need. Now call we over mountains cold, 'Come back unto the caverns old'! Here at the Gates the king awaits, His hands are rich with gems and gold. I hope it relates more to the idea of repopulating Erebor, rather than that line I always found quizzical "The Worm of Dread is slain and dead..." When it was Bard, one of their main enemies at the moment they're singing this in the original book who was the one to Actually bring the dragon down since Bard never mentioned about the Thrush to them for Bilbo to take some sort of credit, I don't believe.

I wonder if Dwalin is guarding a narrow pass against a horde of orcs.
