Beyond the Forest Music for the Woodland Realm Entrance Can't Post

I thought I'd share this fun experiment I had with the DOS score. I really love the piece Beyond the Forest, in particular the brilliantly mystical and eery WoodRealm Theme variation (that is only heard in the film once - when the elven army shows up in Dale). So I decided to try and play the piece over the scene where the dwarves enter The WoodRealm to see how it would work.

Beyond the Forest is a theme suite written by Shore, that was not scored for any particular scene. But I was surprised how well it synced up with it, and even Tauriel's theme directly after it works nicely.

What do you think? Does anyone else really dig the piece too? I hope we hear more of it in the BOTFA EE.

Credit goes to BloodBoal from JWFan forums for putting the video together for us to watch!
