Great news! [In reply to] Can't Post

The publisher's blurb, however, is a bit misleading. The work is not unknown ('little-known' would have been fair) and this is not the first time it's been published; "The Story of Kullermo" previously appeared in Tolkien Studies, Volume 7 (2010), edited and with commentary by Verlyn Flieger.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!// [In reply to] Can't Post

~"Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” ― Gandalf the Grey~

That's very exciting [In reply to] Can't Post

I read Carpenter's biography on Tolkien earlier this year. I don't recall this work mentioned there, or in his letters....was it? I could have overlooked it.
