The Hobbit: The Return of the Edit

Pure bookers will love it, the rest will hate it, maybe.. I came across another edit. Two Hours and Twenty Minutes Long Three movies here, with material strict to the book except for the moment with Bilbo meeting the dwarves after escaping the Goblin tunels. It works because Bilbo is the unique and most important character. The movie goes around him completely. Every scene has Bilbo in it being witness, EVERY SINGLE ONE. Thorin and Gandalf are the second characters. The rest are a magnificent choir of characters of all kinds Extended Editions have being used here. Being the most pleasure moments three: -Bilbo being amazed with Rivendell -Beorn as in the book (they dont spent the night there the dialogue has been changed) -Mirkwood extended The rest are logical and fluent transitions. Bard has no childs and captures the dwarves at the bank of the river. The vibe changes WILDLY It has a similar vibe to WILLOW but in a more and genuine world. Magnificent, this edit has my vote
The flagon with the dragon has the brew that is true Survivor to the battle for the fifth trailer Hobbit Cinema Marathon Hero

I really want editing software, I have a rather unique idea...

Of making a trilogy of 90 min movies. Keeping only what doesn't strictly contradict the book. So Legolas is in but edited down, Dol Guldur would play out totally differently, Azog is gone. I've edited together a few bits: the intro, Bard shooting Smaug, the eagle rescue, the journey home. But only in Windows Movie Maker, using videos from youtube, so it's terrible quality and only really serves as an outline on what I would do if I had better software. But I simply have no idea how to get the software, which is a shame because I'm actually quite skilled with it. If anyone's interested I could go into detail, it would be fun to discuss, but I imagine most people don't really care for reading through detailed descriptions of one person's preferred edit. So I'll spare you if that's the case.

There's a two film edit, one film is Bilbo's perspective entirely and the other film is the Dol Guldur plot with everything, including Bilbo, edited out

I don't want to go downloading viruses for the sake of making a little fan edit for myself. I don't really know how torrents and things work, because I've generally avoided them. Plus there's things like registration codes for the software that never work for me etc. and I just don't have the money to buy a good editor.

I am a member at a fan edit forum, and there's a lot of info about Fanediting and countless movie Fanedits.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro for my video editing. It's a bit pricey but it is a professional-grade program. Adobe has a new pricing structure where you pay a monthly fee for cloud-based access to their software. I believe it's $30 USD a month. As for accessing high-quality copies of The Hobbit (or any film for that matter), you only need to own a DVD/Bluray of the film. For my own fanedit, I used MakeMKV and Handbrake to get the Blurays onto my computer. They are perfectly legal and can be downloaded for free. I imagine a DVD file could be acquired the same way. Google is your best friend here!

I should add that if you want to transfer a Bluray movie onto your computer, you will of course need a Bluray disc drive too.

I like reading such things, maybe because I would also love to do a fanedit of my own, if I was going to buy the films.
