I can't listen to or read people who use the F word in every sentence. It's just ugly, and it reminds me of a dictate I learned early in my writing career, that a word used too often for emphasis loses all of its power and ends up weakening, not strengthening, the idea. Plus, swearing used to be an art form where people came up with new and striking metaphors to insult each other. Look at Shakespeare: http://www.nosweatshakespeare.com/...shakespeare-insults/ C'mon, be INVENTIVE, people!

and I highly disapprove of it. I understand that it can be very relieving when someone's stressed, but I try and come up with my own, non-swearing expressions that I can use when I need to. One example is "Snap (it)!!!" instead of the d-word. (Kind of similar to using "Rats!" or "Shucks!", but my version is more relieving. I think it's the harsher sounds of "snap" compared to the other two.)

I love language and love swear words just as much as any other.

They can be hugely expressive, in use from comedy to expressions of anger. They can convey nuance alone and in the interplay with other words around them. Used properly, there is nothing improper about their use (and as with any other words, of course, I would consider context and audience).

in Love Actually with Bill Nighy as an over-the-hill rocker trying to make his greatest hit into a Christmas song. He makes the same mistake over and over and ends up swearing a blue streak in what I consider one of the most creative swear lines in cinema. (Search YouTube Love Actually - Love is All Around) It makes me laugh every time!

Upholding the fine art of swearing in his own special way. It's worth a look at his swearing experiments on Planet Word with Stephen Fry, which are hilarious and educational at the same time.
