The Hobbit got a mention on Coronation Street last night. Can't Post

[But we are about 2 years behind here in NZ]

Roy Cropper and his mother are discussing Roy's long time absentee father who moved to NZ many years ago and Roy thinks he may have gone back there.
Roy's mother: "Why? Not everyone likes NZ. Apart from lamb and The Hobbit what else does it have?"
Roy; "Exquisite countryside, vineyards, Lake Pukaki.....".

There's a subject line I never expected to see. [In reply to] Can't Post

Wink
Have to agree about Lake Pukaki, considering it has Mt Cook at the end of it. Stunning view; fabulous drive.

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

If they want to get rid of someone on Coronation St, [In reply to] Can't Post

they generally send them to New Zealand. Or Canada.
