I'm sure it's been mentioned by someone before, but I just noticed it for the first time today while watching the auction seen at the end of BoFA. "Sold to Mrs. Bolger. Something for Fatty to put his feet on." Not canonically accurate perhaps, but it's neat to see the unsung member of the conspiracy get a mention in the films.

I never noticed that, even after watching the EE countless times. I guess that at least makes his existence accurate in the films. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Movie verse does include the 60 years between TH and ForR, even though not the 17-yr gap in the latter.

There's a better image of him in FOTR (see the man to the right of the guy in the foreground), showing him as an elderly man, which makes it possible for him to have been around during the events of TH, say, as a youngster.
