I'm sure he be somewhat prominent in the funeral scene (he'll be in it I'm sure?) Doubt we'll ever see the moment between Bilbo and Fili. Might just be me being pessimistic, but there's a lot of things in these movies we'll never see, but have the actors spoken about. Maybe we get something more in the Shire at the end.

Yes. Nothing's confirmed about Bilbo and Bofur... but (spoilers)

I think it's a fairly likely scene, just before Bilbo takes the Arkenstone to Dale, it makes sense. I don't know what "Bilbo and Fili" is, I've not heard anything about that? *spoilers* There's a confirmed new scene where Bilbo talks to King Dain in the EE, which will be really cool. There's a possible new scene where Bilbo will plant his acorn in Dale. There's a possible new scene (or extended scene) with Bilbo and Balin. And yes, he's probably prominent in the funeral. I think that's all we know for now?

According to the TH:BotTA Visual Companion, Bilbo decides to plant the acorn in Dale instead of taking it back to Hobbiton.

The Bilbo-Balin scene is confusing...

The photo people are basing it on is in the same location as the one they have their chat about dragon-sickness in the film... And the only line we have a clue about there is "We cannot win this fight"... Which must be about trying to snap Thorin out of his greed... Hmmm...

Gifts given...Hobbits LIKE Gifts that they can then RE-Gift? 1. Ori giving Bilbo his Drawing {Portrait}? 2. Bifur giving him a New Wooden Toy? 3. Beorn giving Bilbo a Chess Piece? 4. Balin giving Tauriel, Kili's Rune Stone? 5. Dain giving Thrandy his Wife's Necklace? 6. Bombur Speaks? & gives Bilbo recipe for "Dwarvish Goulash"? THIS Funeral Scene will have us ALL Crying with Tears of Happiness/Sadness of the BEST Kind. bom

Just wanted to say hi, since you don't post very often! Seeing your nick makes me blink and think, "Hang on, I didn't post that!"

Hi ! Hope you aren't too upset about my handle - I've had Roheryn as my net name since April 2000 , originally here, but I got involved in another fandom on other boards (first EZ, then Yuku ) for years and my rights to it here must have lapsed, so I rejoined here and put a 1 on it.

another horse lover. I joined TORn with this nick in early 2002, so if you'd registered here with it, you must have been here in the First Age! And then de-registered, or something, so that it was free when I came along. Anyway, no worries; I'm happy to be your evil twin.

Yes, a horse lover and owner. The board format was different then - very clumsy for scrolling...
