These pictures and illustrations help you get your mind around just how enormous our relatively tiny solar system is. The one that really blew me away was the one showing the distance between the earth and the moon. Whoa!

Even with these examples it's still impossible for me to really imagine the scale of size and distance in the universe - it's just too much.
Do you ever go to the 'Astronomy Picture of the Day" site? Every day a new amazing picture, many of them from the Hubble, and so beautiful:
