Tauriel volunteers to Take it to Ered Luin
& give it back to Dis.
The Dwarves are very happy with this Mission,
since SHE will be able to ride Quickly by Horseback...
& Make sure, the Dwaves there, know...
"It's Safe to return to the Mountain."
SSOoo..this could explain what happens to her &
SHE gets to help these two Cultures learn to get
Along..like a "Peace Broker" ?

...it would probably take someone like a Wood-elf on an elven-trained horse to cross the Misty Mountains in winter and reach the Ered Luin by the Yule season. There would still be no expectation of anyone trying to reach Erebor from the Blue Mountains before the end of winter. The journey from west to east would take about two-and-half to three months (or more), depending on the conditions of travel--longer if the Dwarves took the southern route.

Okay, Tauriel might be able to reach the Blue Mountains a bit more quickly. It's still winter and a caravan couldn't start back until the spring.
