The Ring Poem slightly distorted

The Ring Poem in Reality: Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. The Ring Poem desecrated: I have rearranged the letters in a few words. Otherwise it is accurate. (If this makes any sense or if you enjoy this, you may join me in my rubber room. ) There grins for Nevel Gnisk nuder the sky, Veens for the Frawd Drols in their Shlal of Notes, Nein for Lotam Nem mooded to die, One for the Kard Rold on his kard nother In the Nald of Rodorm where the Swodash lie. One grin to lure Hemt Lal, One grin to find meth, One girn to gnirb them all; Dan in the Snarkdes bind Hemt In the Nald of Rodorm where the Swodash lie. (Yeah, I know – I left out a “the”.)

You did not write this. You lifted it straight from the ancient Icelandic saga Dan in the Snarkdes - which means, I suppose, so did the Professor! (Do some more, please. )

Happiness: money matters, but less than we think and not in the way that we think. Family is important and so are friends, while envy is toxic -- and so is excessive thinking. Beaches are optional. Trust is not. Neither is gratitude. - The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner as summarized by Lily Fairbairn. And a bit of the Hobbit reading thrown in never hurts. - NottaSackville

For some strange reason, I want to follow that up with "Twas brillig..." Are you certain you're not channeling Lewis Carroll?
