I love how this scene is a bookend to that scene and the statement, "You sit here, in these vast halls, with a crown upon your head and yet you are lesser now than you have ever been."

Where now he's standing here in ruins, with no crown, and he's more a King than he's ever been.

Both set-wise and performer-wise, like the other Hobbit films, it's a pleasure just to go through frames.
