Well, it’s yet another snowy day and my kids are home from school. That means….conditions are right for a pants thread!
In case you're wondering, a pants thread is where we pick a line from the movie and substitute the word pants for a key word, usually a noun, like so:
Don’t underestimate the power of pants—pants over which a dragon has long brooded.
You might need to add a line or two for context:
My lord Thranduil, we did not look to see you here. I heard you needed pants.
If you need some help with lines from the movie, check out this link to a transcript. (It has some errors, but should serve our purposes well enough.)
Here are a few more to start us out:
