It is the same when PJ says "he does not like wizards in movies". Of course, he never meant Tolkien's wizards, let alone Gandalf, but the sterotype wizard basically able to do anything he wants with a lot of flashy lighting and fire.

We all have our hearts and minds one way or another invested in these books and movies. So we all mind and should show the necessary respect.

I'm glad he did not do these films. The Hellboy films are cool but the rest of his work is average at best for me anyways. Pacific Rim was really not all that great outside of the CGI Robots and Monsters.
