Many. :) [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks Elessar - I've made some edits to that post.

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

No Orc, No Orc!!
It's a wonderful town!!!
Mount Doom blew up,
And the Black Tower's down!!
The orcs all fell in a hole in the ground!
No Orc, No Orc!!
It's a heckuva town!!!

-Lord of the Rings: The Musical, music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green

Reminds me of this Pogo exchange: [In reply to] Can't Post

Albert: "What is you thinking of?"
Churchy: "Nothing. Honest."

Does it belong on The Hobbit board? [In reply to] Can't Post

Can't this be considered fan art? I can't find much discussion on the actual trilogy in the thread.

Good 'ol Pogo! [In reply to] Can't Post

Cool

I'll have to ask my Mom if she still has any of the old pogo collections I used to read.

I lucked into an almost complete collection. [In reply to] Can't Post

A friend of a friend had a bunch of them sitting on her shelf, and I commented, and it turned out her husband had died, and she was trying to sell them. I offered her a hundred dollars for the whole bunch, and she took it.
