Tree & Leaf: a short film inspired by Tolkien's "Leaf by Niggle"

I am a student of English literature, and have an absolute love for Tolkien's works since childhood. I have in recent years dedicated a lot of my free time to the making of non-profit short films with several friends.
My latest film is based on Tolkien's "Leaf by Niggle". Both my first experience with adaptation and miniature filming, the project offered an incredible opportunity for exploration and learning, both content wise as on a technical level. We had no budget to speak of, and only a camera for equipment, but it was made with a lot of love for the source material, and although the allegorical essence and the unusual structure of the story was hard to translate, I have gotten good reactions from fellow Tolkien fans at a local amateur film festival.
I hope that through this website, I can reach a larger part of the target audience. As said before, it is a non-profit film, so I am not fishing after views, but I would very much appreciate constructive feedback, and am hoping to reach out to as many fellow Tolkien fans as possible. So please, if you enjoy it and have the time, share our project through social media. It would be very much appreciated by the people who made it. :)

I can only say that you did an amazing job, especially considering that this was a no-budget film! I also checked out a few of your other films on YouTube and they're really amusing as well (Sunday Morning Brunch  ). Great work! I am spreading the word about Tree & Leaf to a lot of my friends who also love Tolkien.
~There's some good left in this world. And it's worth fighting for.~
