...Aragorn's and Thranduil's were both wonderful. Thranduil's struck a chord with my imagination though, so I gave it the 1UP.

I quite loved Thorin's because wow. That's an awesome looking crown. Arwen's pretty beautiful too.

Though in reading the posts here I realized that it wasn't necessarily the crown but the character wearing it. It fits all the hats he wears (Pun intended) and all the situations in which he may find himself. It fits him, he wears it as a symbol but not an overwhelming symbol. He doesn't have to overwhelm. He's Elrond. The more I read the books the more I feel like Elrond is one of the most under-appreciated characters in ME. Gandalf give him his due but still blows off his advice, I won't even talk about Isuldur. I found a hilarious set of memes that spells things out but they also contain language not suitable for TORn so I won't post them here.

I think she's saying the piece doesn't fit the definition of a crown...

to vote for Thorin's crown. It fitted him very well with Thranduil's crown being a runner up. I like Thranduil's crown because it's different and it changes from season to season. I don't care for his winter crown. I like his fall crown better. I would have loved to see what his summer and spring crown would have looked like.
