Walk to Rivendell - and Beyond!

It's another week of walking, another chance to find out where we are on our journeys through Middle Earth. How goes it?
I got a bit distracted with RL yesterday - my apology for the late post this week.
My progress:
Miles covered this week: 18
Cumulative miles: 60
Goal: Bag End to Rivendell
We're almost to Farmer Maggot's fields - comforting, since we evaded another Black Rider a few miles back. And my RL distraction will give me some cleaning/moving furniture/organizing miles next week.

I'm making my way towards the Marish. My strength is returning, which is good, because I've got some catching up to do.

What has taken me 20 days took hobbits 2!
Can't wait for winter snows to be over and get out to walk more.
Anyway here goes:
Miles covered this week:...15.25
Total miles:........................46
Goal: Rivendell
Right now I'm at Camp - Woody End. A green floor in the wood, roofed by boughs of trees. To the east a steep shoulder falls, and they can overlook the river valley. The lights of the village of Woodhall seen below (ca. 11 p.m.).
Oh and sleeping in, how apropos for a Sunday.

Oh my, just two more miles to the second Black Rider evasion and meeting with elves!
This is great--definitely motivating me to spend an extra 15 minutes on the stationary bike of a winter's evening.
