Where do you weigh in? As a native Seattleite with many deep, entangled roots in New England, I almost don't care who wins. Oh, yes, I do: Seahawks FTW! Multiple answers allowed in case you don't really care, except you kinda do have an opinion anyway.

I'm fairly indifferent, and will watch the game for the commercials. But I have very little respect for Pete Carroll, the Seattle coach, so I would prefer his team not win.

Until the Seahawks became contenders, I only watched for the ads myself. And the Puppy Bowl.

Although even if they were playing, I still wouldn't care that much. So I selected both.

I'm not a football fan and mostly watch the Superbowl for the commercials, but I usually pick a team to cheer for so I don't get bored during the actual game. I haven't yet picked a team for this year, though. Unless anyone wants to try swaying me towards one team or the other, I'll probably just flip a coin.

I wish just once Buffalo Bills could get there and win. The fans really deserve to have a win in their city. Same with the Stanley Cup - I still think there is no place for the Stanley Cup in any city that doesn't see snow.

I grew up in New England, and also currently live here, and they are one of my favorite teams (the other is Pittsburgh, where I was born, a team we all followed when I was youngster before my family moved to MA).

However, this is the matchup we wanted at the Eruvande house. Little Eruvande likes the Patriots, while The Little Goblin likes the Seahawks. I don't know the reasoning for either of these, but we are going to have to devise some sort of brotherly smack down for the game. I hope it's a close one. I quit caring about NFL football the day Tom Landry was fired.

but on the other hand, my family members in Boston root for the Patriots (in fact my sister-in-law's charity work all the Patriot's home games) so I guess I won't take a position on this one.

It wasn't so much that I was a Cowboys fan. Well, okay, I was. But Tom Landry was such a gentleman, always wore a suit and hat to games, didn't tolerate all the shenanigans that players get up to nowadays. When he was fired...FIRED?! well, it just proclaimed a new sensibility that I was not on board with. It was the end of an era, and the Cowboys were diminished as a result. Yeah, and back atcha with the deal breaker.

This Superbowl will be the second football game I've watched in longer than I can remember. I actually have a really hard time paying attention to football but I live 50 miles south of Seatle so I can't help but soak up some of the joy surrounding me. 'm not about to miss out on the revelry anymore than I was last year so. At work this morning instead of everyone having to do a work related check in we were allowed to exult about the Seahawks. My friends are happy, my co workers are happy, my clients are all happy so I'm happy too. So what's a seahawk? Its another name for an osprey.

Superbowl to me is food and a party

Lol, I don't really care for football, so either team can win. I do love the Superbowl, though, because some friends always host a great party with delicious food and games for those who aren't watching. I also enjoy the commercials. I do love New England so maybe that would tip me slightly towards the Patriots, but I have Seahawk-fan friends who would kill me if I went otherwise so of course in front of them I want the Seahawks to win.
