Little favour Can't Post

Hello!

First of all, I apologise for my english, I learn it almost a year and it isn't enough.

I'm looking a missing part of Tolkien's letter to Milton Waldman (no. 131). I have first edition of "The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien" and in my book the part summarizing "The Lord of the Rings" has been omitted, but i need it for my essay. I have a big problem with buying english books in my country. Of course we have translations, but in each work has been used the same versions of this letter, so I have decided to write this post.

I will be very grateful for your help.
Best regards!

Your English is pretty good for a year. Hang out with us and you'll be even better.

(PS, you're ahead of me already, I don't speak any other languages well).

Missing part of this letter [In reply to] Can't Post

I bought the letters from kindle but i don't have missing part of letter to Milton Waldman. But i found that this part was published in "The Lord of the Rings: A Reader's Companion". I'm living out of UK and i can't buy it. Maybe somebody help me and send part of this book from pages 742-749 (my information are from http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Letter_131).

You might check with your library [In reply to] Can't Post

They might have it and lots of them have access to large online databases and interlibrary loans.

It is definitely worth a shot to give them a call. Try your school and/or any public libraries you have access to.
