Legolas v Nuada (Hellboy II), plus, design your own arena

Two Elves of action enter an arena, only one comes out. Who will it be? Love Legolas or not, we all know him. But who is Nuada? For those who have not seen him in action in Hellboy II: The Golden Army (which was directed by GDT): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxadxFjx_2Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cOOc-7SmUg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OwKWJB88-E Bonus challenge: design a custom-made arena to make their duel as interesting as possible. Try to design something where each one might apply his skills to the best effect. Be creative. For example, to even things out in Nuada's favor, one might design an arena with many obstacles, to enable him to avoid arrow shots. To favor Legolas, one might incorporate varied terrain for sliding and surfing about, and various large birds or bats, for impromptu airlifts. Legolas has his bow and as many arrows as he has with him during BOTFA (has anybody tried counting?), plus his twin knives. He may use Orcrist too. Nuada has his extendable spear with the trick spearhead (see the third clip above), and may use twin swords as secondary weapons, as shown in the first clip. Before anyone says that Legolas will easily defeat Nuada from a distance using his bow, check out the second clip, where Nuada cuts a drop of water with his spear. Probably could do that to an arrow, or simply dodge it, but that's just my guess. Bonus challenge II: For anyone who thinks Nuada might have the edge over Legolas in any given scenario, what about switching Legolas for Thranduil in that scenario?
*** He was born of mortal frailty mixed with Elven fallen realm, Comin’ home to a land he’d never been before. Arvernian behind him, sailed the seas of Middle-earth, You might say he didn’t know what lay in store. When his wife came out to find him she'd been turned into a bird, Upon her breast there shone a shining star, So he took her to his bosom, and by morn her form returned, And he shifted West to find the high Valar. And in Valinor he went before the high, In doing so, resigned himself to die. Take up arms against the Shadow, asked he of the high, of the Valar high. (Fight, fight the Shadow) of the Valar high. With bow and clean wide space, Legolas overkills Nuada. In 1 v 1 it's pretty even, though I still think that Nuada is slightly better melee fighter than Legolas, due experience and strenght. They're both extremely swift and agile. But I'll go with Nuada. Regarding Thranduil vs Nuada, I think Thanduil would win. In al the fight scenes we have from Thranduil, one blow is one kill, and Nuada seems to overswing to me. Thanduil could be more powerful in many other ways, such as magic (remember the magic gates, the banishing), and if Nuada has Trolls and beasts, Thranduil has an army.

the rather mutated one in Hellboy (I actually love those films)... ...or the buttkicking original one from Celtic myth? http://www.amazon.com/Book-Conquests-Jim-Fitzpatrick/dp/0525475117 I got this book back in the 80s right after reading LOTR, because I was trying to figure out where those darn Elves came from... Awesome comic book/Celtic illustration style, retelling of early Irish mythological cycle.
