very fair criticisms but it`s all in good fun. To me, PJ films are like fantastically made steak with a bit too much fat in it. He filmed a lot of great material, but also some not-so-good things. The steak is still great, but your reception will depend on how much fat you can tolerate. P.S - I love these movies, but I still acknowledge their flaws. (they don`t ruin the great stuff for me.)

Unfortunately, too many critics are just like this in their real reviews...

of many movies, not just The Hobbit films. Fans will always get more out of these movies than those who see them merely as film without much knowledge of the story. Too many reviews display fundamental errors that just show amateur reviewing skills. Unfortunately, they add up.

I love Honest Trailers. And I'm all for good fun. But this one seemed just like a hate fest on the 3 movie decision. Pretty much the same joke for 4 minutes, and it got old. I've kinda come to expect more from them, especially from a creative point of view.
How many Tolkien fans does it take to change a light bulb? "Change? Oh my god, what do you mean change?! Never, never, never......"
