The Witch-King in Dol Guldur Scene (SPOILERS) Can't Post

For those who have seen the movie, which at this point is almost everybody except me :'(. Is the Witch King at least slightly more difficult to defeat than the other 8 nazgul?

No? [In reply to] Can't Post

Didn't Galadriel kicked them out of Dol Guldur with one swipe of her hand?

I don't think so.... [In reply to] Can't Post

.. I thought the swipe of her hand (and flash of light) sent an orc packing. He looked rather like the original Bolg design, though the glimpse of him was fleeting.

It was Elrond and Saruman who fought the Nazgul - at least, that's how remember it

I really must see this film again - when I can stop coughing! Frown

I've seen it twice and... [In reply to] Can't Post

... the witch-king doesn't even stand out from the others. Elrond and Saruman fights all of the nine and Galadriel confronts Sauron and sends him and the nine away.

Yeah [In reply to] Can't Post

I so it again last night and all the 9 are pretty much attacked by Elrond and Saruman in equal measure, whilst Gandalf is tended to by Galadriel. I think I could pick out which one was the witch king from the helm, but nothing else. Still not sure why they went for the designs they did for the wraiths, I would have preferred them to match the look from weathertop in 'ring view'.

Seen the film [In reply to] Can't Post

And did not see the Witch King at any point. There are just 9 very ghostly Nazgul, but nothing to identify the Witch King.

I think that flash of light [In reply to] Can't Post

comes from the same Phial she gives Frodo. She's holding something that looks to be the same shape, so that means she is using the light of the Two Trees to blast those guys over the cliff. No wonder she was wiped out afterwards. Imagine channeling that kind of power. She was scarey!
