Twitchfilm.com has a cool article - well, quiz really - that celebrates Gandalf's acting career. They've got pics of him play Sir Ian McKellen in all sorts of roles over the decades, including some cool pics of really early work he did before most of us had ever heard of him.

Thanks for sharing the link.
I would have, but the last time I shared a cool Hobbit-films related post from Twitch (a similar quiz for Martin Freeman last year, or perhaps for AUJ, which I also authored) I had my post deleted and received a rebuke for spamming theonering.
Not that my feelings were hurt or anything. I mean I've only been a daily visitor to theonering for almost 20 years.
