Fun quiz Cats [In reply to] Can't Post

I missed 3... But I must say I missed #9 & #14 because of the misspelling of Aglarond/Algarond and Snaga/Snagga so I guessed "Bored" when otherwise I . . . ?

“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”
But, sneaking off in daylight takes much more cunning.

The misspellings annoyed me. Fun, though!

15/15. But Reading Room veterans have endured long and thrallsome training for just such a quiz. You all know whereof I speak.

Somehow... [In reply to] Can't Post

I managed 15/15, despite not having the pleasure of actually reading BotR. It's on the list!

That was pretty easy =) [In reply to] Can't Post

I got one wrong, and that was because of the Aglaron/Aglarond typo that Bracegirdle mentioned. Mad

The typos are a bit annoying, but it's fun to see a quiz comparing the two!

Aglaron? Snagga? [In reply to] Can't Post

Some serious proofreading is needed here!

15/15, too. Well that was easy - only no. 13 made me think for a second. But it was fun.

Thank you, cats16!

You're welcome! [In reply to] Can't Post

Yes, some further editing would have served the quiz well, indeed.

Glad you enjoyed it--once I saw the title on Twitter, I knew it would interest several folks here. Smile

Better than I expected, since I've never read Bored of the Rings - but I'm pretty sure there aren't any sequins or pink-tailed boggies in LOTR, LOL! Smile
