Welcome to this week's edition of the Walk. One more week to go on our much-extended There and Back Again Challenge! Wow, that took longer than I expected...
How go your journeys this week? What are you most looking forward to as we wrap up the challenge?
My progress:

Cumulative miles: 1742
Goal: There and Back Again!
I'm about 380 miles from Bag End - still in Rivendell country. But I'm building up more distance, slowly, and so far it's working. Beamer slowed down a bit - something about having three days off from school last week... She needed some down time, though, since she was fighting a cold.

When we started the Challenge, there were two Hobbit movies in the the works...
I'm hoping there'll be more folks joining us for the LOTR walk - these challenges help get me moving more. And I resemble your comment about losing weight. sigh. But with excellent company on the journey, it looks less daunting! 
So keep up the good work and have a great week in the midst of all the Christmas preparations, gramma!
