Piecing together Shots from different Trailers..Not any Significant spoiler. Can't Post

We see the Four that were left behind (Oin, Bofur, Fili& Kili)
are running into the Front door...over the Bridge..

Then... they are descending some stairs,

AND only NOW! in the latest spot,
Those 4, With Bilbo coming up behind them..
(Note that Kili has a Bota Bag hanging at his waistline)

Then from the Earliest Spots, shown numerous Times.

CUT to the Shot of Thorin alone looking for the Arkenstone
in a Wide shot (The five are Standing Deep & High in the Background...)

This sequence, implies that this is how,
they First come upon Thorin
.......who may be really Upset..Thinking his Nephews & Oin & Bofur are dead...

Sorta like... unscrambling the timeline from different Trailers..
& only would be about 20 seconds on screen...

BUT interesting ...none the Less...

Sounds good. [In reply to] Can't Post

That seems about right.

It would add to the tension with his nephews that they find him looking for the Arkenstone while they have witnessed the inferno at Lake-town.

I assume the alienation between them will grow when Thorin orders them to let the statues collapse in order to seal the front gate again (remember Kili's look when he moves the statue in the teaser?).

Once the conflict escalates Thorin seems to be able to rally the dwarves one more time (The "Will you follow me one last time?" line).

I assume that this will take place surrounding Bilbo first getting the Mithril vest and then trying to randsom the Arkenstone.

I could see most of the other dwarves seeing this as treason even if they are alienated by Thorin's behaviour. Therefore, they follow him despite Thorin banishing Bilbo - but not without further tensions that lead Dwalin to his words ("Bilbo was right, you cannot see what you have become."), as well as Kili's "I will not hide..." and Thorin's "Am I not the King?".

That could be in reaction to Thorin letting the other armies fight outside Erebor and firstly not intervening before he comes to his senses (to some extent) and leads the assault on Ravenhill. This could also be the moment of his "one last time" speech to the dwarves.

"I am afraid it is only too likely to be true what you say about the critics and the public. I am dreading the publication for it will be impossible not to mind what is said. I have exposed my heart to be shot at." J.R.R. Tolkien

Thanks Bomby :) [In reply to] Can't Post

This is actually the part I am most confident PJ & Co will get right - the drama surrounding Thorin and the dwarves.

Splitting the dwarves in Lake-town may end up being one of my favourite changes.

Agreed even though @ First many were un-happy with it... [In reply to] Can't Post

Also, think that 13 will split up during the Battle
just like they did... to OUT-smart Smaug...

The hint to that?.. is what Joe Letteri (Weta Digtal )said...
"We will explore the Entire Battle Field"..

...combined with PJ's remark, ".. in any Battle
you want the Protagonists fighting in about Every Third
or fourth Shot..or the Audience loses interest."

Now, we know Thorin, the Nephews & Dwalin
are shown on Top of Ravenhill..
SSOoo. where do you (ALL readers) imagine
the Other Nine are?

Bomby is sorta Convinced Bombur will STAY @ The Wall,

...being the Last Line of Defense..'cuse if you Leave him
alone...He is one "Kick-ASS Killing Machine"
all by himself!

GO! Bombur, a "Whirling-Dervish?"
Dwarve

While we're at it, one thing I noticed in the latest international trailer, was that the Laketown dwarves were back in their Laketown garb, whereas in the original teaser trailer, there were shots where it looked like they had gotten their original, pre-imprisonment gear back.

After comparing these two shots (the first is from the teaser trailer, the second is from the main trailer), I'm starting to suspect that there has been a rewrite; The Laketown dwarves were supposed to get their original gear back, but then that was written out, and now things have been reshot so that they instead travel to Erebor in their Laketown garb.

I imagine... [In reply to] Can't Post

... they may have used the wrong digital doubles at first, maybe as a placeholder.

Here.. izz 5 Possible.. SETS? [In reply to] Can't Post

Oin & Gloin,...stick close together (Blood Brothers do... do that.)

Bifur, Bofur & Maybe? Bombur..are cousins...

Ori, Dori, Nori are Brothers from different Mothers?

Maybe Dain & Balin since they are Cousins
"Thwice removed on Dis's Side"?

AND we have Seen, TO, F&K & Dwalin
together already..

Some sets.. will happen....
because it Allows PJ to have 5 groups fighting
on..Separate..Fronts...

It seems Bilbo is @ Ravenhill..which makes perfect
sense, since he needs to WITNESS the Deaths
of YOU know WHO?

Which is maybe the point @ which he,
slips on the Ring?

Also [In reply to] Can't Post

After the Bilbo was right part, he said that everything he did was for Kili and Fili. Also in response to the last post Bilbo is also in Dale in one of the spots, I remember it said in the book that he was with the elves for the battle. So maybe he is at Dale with Thranduil, then Bilbo goes somewhere else. There's a lot of mysteries with this one, The Council and Dol Guldur, how Smaug will die and how Bard will escape to kill him, how Legolas and Tauriel going to the fortress is like, having Bilbo in Battle, how the deaths of the heirs will happen.

I will say this last goodbye."-from "The Last Goodbye"
