Ok, you can say 'Gottcha' [In reply to] Can't Post

So he was named (sort of) after his father Finwe as Curufinwe, and Feanor was his epesse. I knew of the word 'epesse' but thought maybe father-name was an Estonian thingy. Unsure

That wasn't my intention [In reply to] Can't Post

I should have phrased my question better.

No problem [In reply to] Can't Post

Question phrased properly. Smile I just forgot about the 'father-name' business.

Great conversation, both of you. [In reply to] Can't Post

You two are having one of the best trivia exchanges I've ever seen. I hope you're not done yet. Thanks for doing this in forum (not private) form.

‘Tis fun eh? Ok… [In reply to] Can't Post

Here’s one for whomever.

Memory ONLY! No look in book! 5 minutes. Brain-pan only. On your honor! Crazy

Name the thirteen Dwarves at the Unexpected Party.

Extra credit - Day of the week and which Dwarf was first to arrive?

Correct BlackFox [In reply to] Can't Post

I always remember Wednesday because Bilbo complains that he should have written in his diary something like "Gandalf, tea, Wednesday".

We don't know who was the last to arrive because four of them tumble in all at once. But I always think of it as Thorin.
