PJ's appearance at Exeter College in Oxford Nov 26: CANCELLED Can't Post

Today, on Nov. 26th, Peter Jackson was expected at the Exeter College in Oxford - the one where Tolkien had studied.
Jackson was to hold a 700th Anniversary Lecture. However, his participation has been cancelled, because, according to the info on the official website, "Sir Peter Jackson is unwell".

I hope the man gets well soon!

I'm not surprised [In reply to] Can't Post

the way he looked in that video a week or two ago was quite distressing. Hopefully its nothing too serious and he gets better in time for the premiere.

Hope he's OK [In reply to] Can't Post

I would imagine he was incredibly stressed – such a responsibility running a massive operation like these films, and being involved in all those decisions.

He should just relax now with his lovely cat, dogs and pig – and perhaps his family.Wink

Making these movies was really stressful... [In reply to] Can't Post

PJ looked terrible in this recent interview and he changed a lot in the last few years when you look at the interviews of "Lovely Bones" or the first ones for "The Hobbit". Thank you for all, relax and get well soon, Sir!

And hopefully the love from compassionate fans will help too... [In reply to] Can't Post

I appreciate the 'love' emoticon at the end of your own post, for example...
Same from me too for him, of course, from all my heart...

Yeah... [In reply to] Can't Post

I remember the last days of ROTK. That was tiring enough. But dratted WB, working him into the ground. He's probably thankful that his indentured servit--*oops*, contract with WB for the last Tolkien franchise is finally through. Now let's see if the film reflects his love of Tollien...of his exhaustion....

Get well, Peter....I hope you can have some much-deserved Rn'R. And then take a long break...before going back to doing film you love.

Link [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm assuming this is the one people mean.
I didn't think it was that bad - he just seems incredibly tired, which makes sense of course.
