Thanks for sharing. Also some nice stuff from inside Erebor.

There sure is a lot of new images there! Definitely nice to see Balin again.
How many Tolkien fans does it take to change a light bulb? "Change? Oh my god, what do you mean change?! Never, never, never......"

Stott's Balin is in my list of Top 5 character portrayals in the Middle-earth saga.

in the picture linked to the text "Bilbon s'appretant a quitter les nains ?" which means "Bilbo on the verge of saying goodbye to the dwarves", four dwarves are notably missing. Three of them we know why, but... Dwalin is absent too. And he's the one we saw in some shots alone with the three condamned dwarves at ravenhill... Maybe he's just not in the screen, maybe he's the one we can't figure behind Bilbo, but still... Armitage said there may be things we do not expect at the end of the battle. I personally still don't think it's gonna happen, but the scenario where Dwalin falls at ravenhill with the others is becoming more believable day by day EDIT : I just proved myself wrong. The shoulder behind Bilbo corresponds to what Dwalin wears, not Gloin, the other one we can't see in the shot. And there's no reason to think anything will happen to Gloin. Sorry !

Not the same source, but just Fili You can never ever have too much of him.
And the guys who prove, yes, the world can be a beautiful place *Wipes tears from eyes* Oh, yes, they do indeed. Now, I know that we do talk about the beauty of certain dwarves a lot, so I'll be fair and put up a few pictures of some other noteworthy representatives of Middle-earth's finest. Some are fan art, others are real pictures. This elf probably doesn't need another picture since he has oodles of threads, but I'll be fair. *cough* Though I don't think he's too bad either.
Will Turner 2.0 Bard: Elrond may not have the hordes of fangirls like other men, but he's still pretty top-notch: And the face that made so many knees buckle back in the days of LotR (choosing to use a picture from the times when Legolas was more...photogenic, let's say): Let's not forget dear Lindir/Figwit, whose face in LotR momentarily distracted the Legolas and Frodo devotees: And our adorable hobbit: My, my that's a lot of Elves. I'll have to balance that out. There we go. I hope I didn't forget anyone. That should be enough eye candy to suffice, though. Thanks to the original poster for the link to the pictures!

Thanks for posting the two pics of him for better comparison! Granted, this was a point where Gandalf was brighter as the white wizard, but still- he's WAY darker in TH than he was in LOTR, where he was pretty pale. His face was a bit narrower and his lips hadn't completely disappeared either, but I think that's the main reason (besides those awful contacts) why he looks so different now! He's at least three foundation colors darker than he was in LOTR! That's bound to age a person! Thanks Avandel!
