- Smaug > Gandalf the White (if the other battle is anything to go by)
Therefore:
- Smaug > Saruman the White/Many-coloured

He's big, he breaths fire, and he can fly. Saruman's real power lays in his leadership abilities. For example, when all of his orcs got torn up by the ents, he was near powerless to effect the battle.

Yes but by then he was Saruman of many colors. Saruman the White however, was much more powerful than Saruman of many colors, but still not good enough for Smaug.

 I've always liked Dragons too, and as facts state, Smaug would.

Actually, Padster's right. Saruman of Many Colors is more powerful than Saruman the White. Many Colors had a ring of power, and I forgot about that. So perhaps Saruman would defeat Smaug.
