Hello everyone!
I just wanted to make a quick post regarding LOTR/Hobbit related conventions.
It looks like to me most people go to events like Dragon con, Wonder-con, Fantasy con and Comic con for LOTR/Hobbit related fun.
Seems like the only dedicated convention to the movies is Hobbit con in Germany.
I also feel like there was at least one dedicated con to the movies in the USA.
I was looking for history on this and did not find much.
I was also wondering if people who be interested in a Hobbit Con in the USA. Or if everyone who rather stick the the multi-fan based cons.
Or the large events by TORN. (like the Oscar party).
Also I am so glad I found out about the local LA group Tolkien Forever as I have been looking for a Los Angeles based fan group for awhile.
