help with kickstarter campaign Can't Post

I want to start a kickstarter campaign (or some sort of pledge campaign) to get the Kiwi hobbit actors to London for the premiere.

I'm having some difficulty with getting kickstarter set up- apparently it thinks that I need to have an actual business to be able to do this, and that's confusing me to no end...

Does anyone know of another site- like those ones that raise money for medical tragedies and such- so I can do this?

Heck, I'd even oversee one on TORn- I just REALLY think that us fans need to find a way to send them to London- that's not fair at all (plus it's ethnic discrimination to allow everyone BUT the Kiwi actors to go, don't you think?).

These men and women have worked SO hard on these films- they should all be together for the premiere in London.

Can someone who is tech savvy help me? I would be more than willing to do all the work necessary to make this happen- I just need some help getting something set up to receive the pledges from fans so we can fly these guys to London Smile

Please see my clarification [In reply to] Can't Post

here, in the thread on the Hobbit board.

Koru: Maori symbol representing a fern frond as it opens. The koru reaches towards the light, striving for perfection, encouraging new, positive beginnings.
