BOFTA Eagles vs ??? Can't Post

According to the lego sets, there may be some surface-to-air ballistas that the orcs will use against the Eagles...but seriously, is that it? I'm sort of hoping for bats or something that flies to take on the eagles...instead of just having them come in and wreak havoc while being relatively immune to attacks...so what are you thinking...bats or something to stalemate the eagles in BOT5A or no? Air battle?
Edit: Oh I know let's have Smaug survive Laketown so he can tear things up at the BOT5A!! Oh wait...must stick to book....right....darn you Tolkein! xD

They were introduced in AUJ and feature on the poster. So yes, there will be bats fighting the eagles.

Bats [In reply to] Can't Post

According to Empire Magazine last year. Jackson mentioned he was inspired by WW1 dogfights.

Gawd [In reply to] Can't Post

I expect we'll get Legolas flying upside down on a bat now, then landing on another one underneath, while firing salvos of arrows in mid-air, and so on…

You're wrong [In reply to] Can't Post

These bats will do it easily. They are giant bats. They also speak with deep, evil voices in their own tongue. Anything is possible in this universe. In fact I can see Legolas on one of those silver surfer boards, sliding from bat to bat (while rapidly firing off arrows without a pause in between the release of each one).
