If you are interested in Lawrence Makoare (Bolg / Lurtz / Gothmog / Witchking), you might like this item. A great clip here, which includes a peek at The Dead Lands. I can't wait to see this one - an action movie entirely in Maori, directed by Toa Fraser (Number Two, Dean Spanley).

I've been waiting for this film to appear. I hope this one gets to my city and doesn't stay in the main centres.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. Good to see more films about indigenous cultures, in their languages (Fast Runner comes to mind as a good example). Just saw a bunch of hoopla online about Disney's new princess film, Moana (possibly titled Spirited), already garnering fanart, can't waits... and criticism from Polynesians. It's Disney, Disney films have a certain formula, it looks like they are trying for diversity... yet are they portraying another culture/mythology fairly and accurately? We'll see. Carry on Lawrence!
