So you think you know your Tolkien names? Pt. II

Not too long ago I started a thread which became a possible TORn software buster, as it closed in on 300 replies and had to be locked by our admirable and charming Superuser Altaira. This is a more difficult variation on a theme.

This new and improved version goes thusly:
Take any two letters (in sequence) from the previous word to start another Tolkien word.

(BTW – Word repeaters or non-contributing lurkers will spend 19 days atop Orthanc with but bread and rainwater for sustenance.) Unsure

Threaded viewing is suggested.
Epithets or more than one word are acceptable. Thus:

Great Goblin //
Lightfoot // (using “li” from Great Goblin)
Forgoil // (using “fo” from Lightfoot)

Clear as the waters of Kheled-zaram? Good! Put your word(s) in the subject line.

I’ll start with Gollum //
Unsure

He who breaks a thing to find out what it is, has left the path of wisdom.
