News about Hobbit menu at Denny's?

I had never eaten at a Denny's until I moved to grad school, but there is a restaurant just down the street. This excites me because I have wanted to enjoy a Hobbit-themed meal the past two years, but there is not a Denny's near where I live. I can't imagine that they would not offer the Hobbit dishes again if it was successful the last two years, but does anyone know if Denny's will actually do this for the Battle of Five Armies? When have they typically announced the Hobbit menus at Denny's the past two years - would it be too soon for news about this? I would like to visit Denny's and order a Hobbit meal as a stress breaker the week before final exams begin. And by the way, just for fun, what are some dishes you would like to see on the Hobbit menu? They can be returning dishes or dishes based on the Battle of Five Armies. I personally think that, given the events of the Battle of the Five Armies, there should be a Fili and Kili Chili. and the Radagast Red Velvet Bites they served in the past look very yummy - I love red velvet cake.

As for possible new menu items: - Honey-cakes! - Dragon fruit smoothies. - Seed-cake. - Buttered scones. - Mince-pie. - Pork pot pie. - Coney stew. Things I would leave off: - Cram.

...lembas bread! Nope. I didn't forget it. Just didn't see a viable way of adding it. I probably should have included lembas anyway just for the heck of it.

I haven't be able to get to one for the past two years either. But it's on my bucket list this year!

I kind of dig Denny's, but their coffee is hit and miss. None the less, the next item on the menu should be fish that they just come out... and pour on top of you kind of like in the barrel scene.

Complete with chips, of course. ;) They already have wonderful fish and chips at Denny's - I've ordered them the past time or two that I've gone there. Bangers and mash and others traditional English foods would be very appropriate for Denny's to have on the menu since J.R.R. Tolkien was British.

Bangers and mash and others traditional English foods would be very appropriate for Denny's to have on the menu since J.R.R. Tolkien was British. During the 2012 promotion Denny's served an English-style sausage. My wife swears that the sausage served last year was a different, milder style; I thouight it was pretty similar.

I've been to England twice (both on school trips - last time I was the student leader for my group). Sausage is a very popular menu item there, and it does have a milder taste than some sausage in the states, from my experience. A lot of places will serve it for breakfast and it will also be on the lunch and dinner menus. And I enjoyed the sausage rolls that are available in England as well, although I haven't seen those where I live. I have to make my own with beef bratwursts and puff pastry dough (not exact, but it's still good). Kind of surprised sausage rolls aren't more of a thing in the US - I guess the closest thing I've seen is a pig-in-a-blanket? And don't forget toad-in-the-hole! I had a yummy toad-in-the-hole pie while visiting Oxford. Sausages, carrots, onions, and other veggies (I think maybe turnips?) served with gravy in a Yorkshire pudding crust. Delicious! Would love to see Denny's have a good sausage dish as well. And in England, fish and chips are often served with peas (either garden or mushy). Honestly hoping Denny's will announce the Hobbit menu soon - all this is making me quite excited and hungry!
