Dinner/Supper [In reply to] Can't Post

Don't usually eat breakfast, and lunch is often more of a utilitarian meal. Dinner is the one that i try to enjoy, sometimes with friends.

If by breakfast, you mean [In reply to] Can't Post

pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hash browns + o.j. or coffee, then... Smile

Currently, however, I would have to say lunch because I am an off-campus student but eat lunch in the campus dining hall on class days. That's where I get the best amount and selection of food.

The evening meal [In reply to] Can't Post

Because it is the one meal of the day that I cook for us all, and I eat with my two sons. At breakfast I am too often distracted by work, and my sons are hurrying to get out to school. During lunchtime they are at school and I am at home alone, working. But in the evening after work and school we can eat something nice together and talk.

Have to agree with Meneldor and cats16 [In reply to] Can't Post

They're all good! However, I voted for dinner since that tends to be the most social for me, eating out with friends or family (brunch would be a close second, but it wasn't listed).

P.S. What about elevensies? Tongue

Breakfast!! By far!! [In reply to] Can't Post

Oh, I could wax poetic about my love of the greatest and chiefest meal of the day. A bright spot in the small, dark hours of the morning, and a welcome friend to greet the dawn of a new day.

You have so many options: Pancakes, Waffles, Toast, Toaster-Tarts, Doughnuts, Muffins, Bagels, Breakfast-Pastries Oatmeal, Fruit, Cereal, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Orange Juice, Tea, French Toast, Milk, and all these in infinite varieties and combinations! I always invite people who want to talk over a meal, to breakfast. It is the one meal, I cannot miss in the day!

So....does that answer your question?? Laugh

Supper is family time, so I chose that. [In reply to] Can't Post

When I was a kid, my mom laid down the law: we could read at the table during breakfast and lunch, but supper was sacred. We kept that rule with our family when we had kids. I like to eat and read, but I do love family time.

Rem Rem you forgot my personal favorite!! [In reply to] Can't Post

Biscuits and Gravy and Breakfast Burritos! I am so in agreement with you here. I never met a breakfast food I didn't like. I am thinking fondly back to my Breakfast on Saturday of Biscuits,Gravy, Bacon, and Eggs. Let us not forget lots and lots of Tabasco!

I can easily skip Lunch or Dinner and I often do. However, I can not remember the last time I did not have breakfast and coffee. It is 08:00pm and I am now thinking that French Toast sounds pretty good!Smile However, I will probably just go and have a bowl of cereal...my favorite midnight snack!

Hi! Mikah!! [In reply to] Can't Post

*Runs over to give a big hello-hug*

Nice to see you! Yes, I agree that I there are very, very precious few breakfast foods that I will not eat. It is just the best part of my morning!

I know this might make you a bit hungry/jealous, but I just had cinnamon roll waffles. You take those prepackaged cinnamon rolls and put four in a waffle maker, spread icing over it and it's to die for!! Angelic Of course, it probably blows the calorie limit for the day in one meal, but it was so worth it!! Smile

Good to hear from you, and I hope to see you around!

Your breakfast sounds amazing! I just had Oatmeal this morning, but that was good too!!!!! I do not concern myself with calorie count in the morning. I justify it by telling myself I have all day to burn it off! Wink

It varies... [In reply to] Can't Post

For me it varies based on a few factors. Most days it is dinner/supper. On those occasions that I go out to lunch instead of eating lunch at my desk, lunch is my favorite. On the weekends, it's probably breakfast; nothing like a lazy morning with my wife and some indulgent breakfast foods. Some days I am in such a hurry during meal times that my favorite "meal" is a relaxing bowl of cereal before bead. If I'm eating pepperoni rolls, then that's my favorite meal--whenever and wherever it may be.

I love popcorn for breakfast [In reply to] Can't Post

Ever since I heard a docent at Colonial Williamsburg talking about popcorn being one of the first breakfast cereals, I decided to try it. I like it slightly stale with just a dusting of sugar and a bit of milk.
