Cloak for me too [In reply to] Can't Post

I tried to think of reasons to choose one of the others because I didn't want the vote to be so uneven, but the cloak is what I'd truly prefer.

It's stylish and practical. And who doesn't occasionally want to disappear into the background? Laugh

the cloak [In reply to] Can't Post

for me and my family as well- so that we can all hide if my parents or sisters come over Tongue

To clarify lest there be confusion- MY parents are what one would refer to as the "in-law" syndrome for me, whereas I absolutely ADORE my actual inlaws! Wink

My actual parents are....well, how do I put it lightly? They're insane (as in actual psychological diagnosis- for example, my mom has Generalized Anxiety Disorder that she refuses to treat, my dad has severe ADHD and anger management issues among other problems, both are extremely untrusting, paranoid and overbearing and opinionated (in which mine is always wrong), and do NOT respect personal boundaries, etc).

My inlaws, on the other hand- they are the parents I always WISH I had.

So yes, a Lothlorien cloak set for my family and myself would be greatly appreciated Smile

Now if only I can figure out how to get my five year old and my two year old to be quiet under them....Angelic Tongue

The cloak [In reply to] Can't Post

cause sometimes... I'd just like to be a bit invisible and blend into the background.

And cloaks are cool and functional.

The definition I knew of that term [In reply to] Can't Post

was this one: a sign over the entrance to a theater that shows the name of the show, movie, play, etc., and the names of the main performers

Then I came to learn it also meant: a covered structure over the entrance to a building (such as a hotel or theater)

It wasn't until Deathly Hallows that I learned of this definition: a large tent that is set up for an outdoor event (such as a party)

the phial [In reply to] Can't Post

people may be forgetting that it's more than just beautiful light.

it's the reflected light of the star of earendil, which is a silmaril that houses the beautiful, holy light of the two trees.

the phial is an astounding and important object, and an incredible gift from galadriel to frodo.

cheers --

excellent question! [In reply to] Can't Post

I chose the Lothlorien cloak, but was surprised to see how many others did the same. I thought I was going to be a minority on that one...very cool.

Why the cloak? I think it would be very useful to hide from others occasionally. Also, it would allow me to eavesdrop while unseen, hehe.

Thanks Ataahua!
